Dr. Harte-Hargrove is Executive Director of the Misophonia Research Fund. With over 15 years of experience in neuroscience research and leadership in the non-profit sector, Dr. Harte-Hargrove brings a passion and unwavering dedication to advancing understanding, treatments, and solutions for those impacted by misophonia. 

Dr. Harte-Hargrove obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology and neuroscience from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and her doctorate degree in behavioral neuroscience from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Most recently, Dr. Harte-Hargrove was Director of Research at CURE Epilepsy where she worked towards the goal of increasing awareness, treatments, and a cure for those impacted by epilepsy. Throughout her career, Dr. Harte-Hargrove has emphasized the need to highlight the voices of those directly impacted by the condition, as well as their caregivers, to truly understand and address patient-centered needs.
