In this Science Session, Dr. Nicolas Davidenko will be discussing the work he and his team at the High Level Perception Lab have reported on in the recent paper "Development and Evaluation of a Sound-Swapped Video Database for Misophonia" [2022, Frontiers in Psychology].
Dr. Davidenko and his team have uncovered some interesting insights into the role that visual context plays in misophonia. Learn more about this unusual discovery, which involves a phenomenon known as the McGurk Effect, at this Science Session!
Dr. Davidenko is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at University of California, Santa Cruz.
Tickets are free, but ticket reservations are required. Donations greatly appreciated.
