About the Researcher:

Julia Campbell, PhD, AuD

Assistant professor, Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, The University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Campbell uses electrophysiology and source localization methods to better understand cortical network plasticity in typical and atypical sensory function, such as tinnitus. She has published research in PLoS ONE, Frontiers in Human Neuroscience, Journal of the American Academy of Audiology, and Clinical Neurophysiology, among others.

Dr. Campbell is also on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Misophonia Research Fund.

soQuiet was founded to give a voice and support to people who are affected by misophonia, a complex sensory disorder that is often misunderstood.
